			Familiale : Palais des congrès - Paris The 7th European Family Therapy Association (E.F.T.A) congress will take place in Paris, at the "Palais des Congrès" these next 29th, 30th and 31st October 2010.


Each delegate will receive her/his name badge and conference material on Thursday 28 October 2010 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Palais des congrès.

Thérapie Familiale A little more than 50 years ago...

... family therapy and systemic practices were considered as an innovative approach which was often upsetting. They were also seen as a pioneer domain. Since, they have demonstrated their positive effect in psychiatric troubles treatment as well as in the educative and medical-psycho-social areas.

Today, Family therapy is recognized at international level...

... and is taught in lots of European universities. Many institutes also provide a high quality training. Extending beyond psychotherapy area, systemic approach proposes an original way to help in new problematics encountered by institutions and other organizations.

The European Family Therapy Association (E.F.T.A.)

... at the time of its 7th congress, which is also the French Family Therapy Association (S.F.T.F.) congress, invites you to discover the diversity of systemic practices. These are constantly happening in a social landscape undergoing profound change.

The main directions will be :

Pratiques systemiques- The role of family therapy under its différent aspects :

... theoretical and methodological in the clinical, training and research frameworks. An important part will be dedicated to new systemic practices with contribution of well-known international family therapists.

- The ethics and the perspectives...

... which will emerge in the socio-cultural universe of tomorrow. For this debate, famous external speakers from family therapy field will be invited such as : Mark Anspach, Boris Cyrulnik, Eric Fiat, Vittorio Gallese, René Girard, Gisèle Halimi, Axel Kahn, Michel Rouche.

Your presence and collaboration will turn this congress into a great moment in the history of the development of family therapies and systemic practices in Europe.
